01Prepare for your first shave

1. Charge in a dry place. With dry hands, shaver and connector, use the supplied cable and a 5 V / 1 A USB power supply. Allow about 1 hr 30 min, until “FULL 90 min” appears, then unplug.
2. Check the head. Remove the cover if supplied. The foils must be intact, the block closed and the head secure. Do not use a damaged or loose part.
3. Start with short regrowth. Shorten long hair to 2 or 3 mm with the precision attachment and its comb. Dry shaving: clean, dry scalp. Wet shaving: lukewarm water, a slightly damp scalp and a little gel or foam if desired.

In the shower and for all wet shaving: unplug the cable. Keep the cable and power supply dry. Do not immerse the IPX6-rated body.

02Shave your scalp without pressing

Press briefly to switch on or off. Hold the body from above or between your fingers. Start at the top of your head, first with the grain, then make small circles. The moving SkinFlow™ elements follow the curves; maintain light contact, especially around the ears and back of the neck.

Clean the head during the session if hair builds up. Switch off before feeling for missed areas with your hand, then touch up gently. If the head pulls or cuts poorly, stop and clean it. After shaving, rinse your scalp, dry gently and apply your usual skin care product if well tolerated.

03Change the complete head: pull straight, never twist

1. Switch off and unplug. Hold the shaver body firmly.
2. Grip the base of the complete head and pull along the mounting axis. Do not twist or unscrew the head. Do not pull on the foils.
3. Align the new head or attachment with the socket in the body, then push straight into place. Check that it is secure before switching on.

The base comes off with the head. Removing only the magnetic block is not enough to change the head. If the new part will not fit, check that the old base is not still on the body. No tools or force: contact Support if unsure. See pages 16-17 of the full manual for illustrated steps.

04Clean SkinFlow™ 5 or 7 blades with Click&Clean™

1. Switch off and unplug; keep the base attached to the shaver.
2. Grip the edge of the 5- or 7-blade magnetic block and lift it off. Leave the central screw in place for everyday cleaning.
3. Empty the hair, rinse the open parts with lukewarm water, gently shake off excess water and leave to air-dry. The supplied small brush removes loose hair from the recesses without pressure on the foils.
4. Align the block with its base: the magnets hold it in place. Check that it sits flat and securely.

Deep cleaning: SkinFlow™ 5 only

Occasional cleaning with the small central plastic screw applies to the SkinFlow™ 5-blade head only. Follow pages 19-20 of the manual: remove the block, take out the screw and retaining piece, keep each blade with its original foil, rinse and air-dry, then return each pair to its place. Tighten by hand without overtightening. For the 7-blade head, ask Support before dismantling internal parts. Click&Clean™ is enough for daily cleaning.

05Clean Chromatic 5, 6 or 7 blades

1. Switch off and unplug. Work on a stable surface.
2. Lift the small outer caps by their sides without pressing on the foils.
3. Turn only the small centre piece about 15° anticlockwise, then remove it.
4. Empty, rinse with lukewarm water and leave to air-dry.
5. Align the centre in its recess, turn it about 15° clockwise, then close the caps one by one.

06A quick rinse between passes

With the cable unplugged and the head intact, closed and secure, run only the shaving surface in a shallow layer of lukewarm water, keeping the body out of the water. Then switch off. To open the head and clean inside, follow the steps above with the shaver off. A quick rinse does not replace cleaning after shaving.

07Beard, precision and skin care

On a short beard, follow the grain with gentle, alternating strokes, especially on the neck. Shorten a long beard with the precision attachment and its comb before shaving. On clean, dry hair, fit the 2, 3 or 5 mm comb supplied with your set; switch off before changing it.

Accessories vary by set. Switch off and unplug before fitting or removing any attachment. The cleansing / shaving brush helps cleanse and lift hairs on damp skin; the silicone attachment offers a light massage. Move without pressure, avoid eyes, wounds and irritated areas, then rinse and air-dry. For the nose / ear attachment: visible hairs only, no more than 5 mm inside a nostril and never into the ear canal.

08Care, storage and travel

Clean after every shave and leave to air-dry. No cloth on the foils, abrasives, alcohol, solvents, seawater or water above 60 °C. Do not tap the head against the basin. Use GroomCloth™ on the body, never the foils.

Once all parts are dry, close the head and refit its cover if supplied. Hold the button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock. GroomBox™ keeps the shaver and accessories together and protected, without pressure on the foils. Charge and store dry, between 5 and 35 °C. If unused, recharge at least once a month.

Plan to replace the head every 2 to 3 months, depending on use and condition. SharpFlow™ maintains the cutting edge but does not prevent wear. Stop and contact Support if a foil is deformed, a part is broken, or there is unusual heat or a smell. Some demonstration videos may be in French.
